CALL NOW TO HELP AFGHANS SEEKING SAFETY

Your Senators need to hear from you! This is a critical moment to ensure that tens of thousands of Afghans find real, lasting safety in the U.S.

Call them using our simple tool and urge them to pass an Afghan Adjustment Act to expand humanitarian pathways out of Afghanistan and establish a roadmap to citizenship for Afghans seeking safety in the United States.

In the midst of the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, the United States welcomed tens of thousands of at-risk Afghans to the United States via humanitarian parole, a status that is typically granted for only one or two years. Without Congressional action, there is no clear path for Afghans with humanitarian parole to stay in the U.S. long-term.

In August 2022, a bipartisan group of Representatives and Senators introduced the Afghan Adjustment Act which will establish a roadmap to citizenship for Afghans in the U.S. and expand humanitarian pathways for Afghans left behind. The bipartisan support for this bill proves Congress is united in supporting at-risk Afghans who are left behind in Afghanistan and those who are starting a new life in communities across the U.S.

Rather than punishing Afghan arrivals for being evacuated, Congress has an urgent obligation to ensure they have a chance to put down roots in their new communities.

Congress CAN help Afghans in need — but they need to hear from us to take appropriate action.
