Urge Congress to Pass the Transgender Health Care Access Act

The Trump administration has launched a series of attacks against LGBTQI+ communities, especially against transgender and non-binary people across the country, including directing agencies to take action to prevent gender affirming care.  At the same time, state and local governments have increased legislative attacks against transgender people. In fact, as of March 2025, 27 states have enacted laws or policies limiting youth access to gender affirming care.

Transgender rights are human rights. All people have the right to health care, and gender affirming care or transition-related care, is health care. Gender affirming care greatly improves the mental and overall wellbeing of transgender and non-binary people and helps them to live healthy and safe lives.

Take Action: Tell your senators and representatives to support the Transgender Health Care Access Act (H.R 2487) and send a clear message that transgender rights are human rights — and that their constituents demand they support the lives and health of transgender people.
