TAKE ACTION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
RETURN KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA AND OTHERS EXPELLED TO EL SALVADOR
The Trump administration unlawfully expelled more than 255 people from the U.S. to El Salvador, including Kilmar Abrego Garcia, despite a U.S. Supreme Court order explicitly prohibiting his removal. Others, like make-up artist Andry José Hernández Romero, were also expelled in violation of due process. Many had no criminal records, were actively engaged in legal proceedings, or had been granted protection under U.S. law.
These individuals were sent to a notorious prison known for its inhumane conditions. Their families have received no official information about their loved ones’ whereabouts.
The U.S. government has placed these men in grave danger and has also violated the principle of non-refoulement, which prohibits sending people to countries where they risk serious harm.
Act now: Demand that the Secretary of Homeland Security immediately return those unlawfully expelled to El Salvador, ensure they can continue their immigration proceedings in the U.S., and halt any further expulsions.
