Stop Separation of Family Seeking Safety
UA 30.25
On March 17, US immigration authorities detained Alberto, the father of a Venezuelan family of 4, separating him from his wife and two children. Despite the family having pending asylum applications, he was charged with “illegal” entry to the United States, more than two years after the family’s arrival at the southern US border. A federal judge ordered him released from jail on March 20, but he was detained by immigration authorities on March 27 after complying with a letter he received to report to the immigration office.
Join us to call for Todd Lyons, Acting Director Immigration and Customs Enforcement to immediately release Alberto and cease the cruel practice of family separation - send your email on behalf of Alberto using our email-writing tool.
