RUSSIA: STOP YOUR WAR ON UKRAINE
The Russian military’s latest attacks on Kyiv, Bakhmut, and cities across Ukraine show a horrifying escalation of aggression against Ukrainian civilians.
For over one year, Russian forces have launched strikes hitting preschools and playgrounds, residential areas, and civilian infrastructure with complete disregard for human life. Their invasion is a violation of the United Nations Charter, and an act of aggression that is a crime under international law.
Amnesty has identified two people as key targets to apply pressure on: the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov, and Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation General Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu.
Take action: Urge the Russian government to immediately stop its war of aggression on Ukraine, and stop attacking civilians.
