End unlawful detention in Iraq: Release Walid Yunis Ahmad

Walid Yunis Ahmad was held without charge in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq for nearly 11 years, and then sentenced to 5 years in prison, on charges relating to terrorism. Amnesty International believes that the charges against Walid Yunis Ahmad were fabricated and that he has received an unfair trial. The Kurdish government must release Walid Yunis Ahmad immediately, and offer reparations to him and his family for the years he was illegally detained.
